Social email marketing

When I started this blog last Sunday I of course had to find a good domain name. Since this blog is about social media marketing, email marketing and social email marketing, the domain name socialemailmarketing.com seemed like a good idea. But of course it was already taken. When typing it in my web browser I was glad not to land on one of those parked domain sites filled with Google ads but on the web site of a real company: as far as I understand it’s a German email marketing company. Good job, guys.

The only other name left was socialemailmarketing.eu so I ordered it. Of course the domain name is quite long. I could have picked something like ‘socializr’ or ‘socialdudez’ but hey, the domain name says what it’s about. I also considered creating an acronym. What would that be for social email marketing? SEM. Right, that’s already taken by search engine marketing. The life of a blogger can be tough.
